(a) The center shall create an advisory committee, consisting of medical examiners, law enforcement officials, and other interested persons as determined appropriate by the center, to impose priorities regarding the identification of the backlog of high-risk missing person cases and unidentified human remains. (b) The center shall use any available federal funding to assist in reducing the backlog of high-risk missing person cases and unidentified human remains. (c) The reduction of the backlog may be outsourced to other appropriate laboratories at the center's discretion.
