Art. 2740c. EXEMPTION OF INDEPENDENT DISTRICTS FROM COUNTY SUPERVISION    


That from and after the passage of this Act all Independent School Districts in this State located in counties having a population of not less than 8,955 and not more than 8,960, according to the United States Census of 1910, shall be exempt from county supervision and from all assessments for county administration and be subject only to the supervising authority of the State Department of Education and the State Board of Education as prescribed by General Law in the administration of public schools in this State.
