Sec. 42.2511. AUTHORIZATION FOR CERTAIN DISTRICTS TO RETAIN ADDITIONAL STATE AID

(a) This section applies only to a school district that was provided with state aid under former Section 42.2516 for the 2009-2010 or 2010-2011 school year based on the amount of aid to which the district would have been entitled under that section if Section 42.2516(g), as it existed on January 1, 2009, applied to determination of the amount to which the district was entitled for that school year.
(b) Notwithstanding any other law, a district to which this section applies may retain the state aid provided to the district as described by Subsection (a).
(c) This section expires September 1, 2013.
