Sec. 122.054. NONRESIDENT DECEDENT

If the decedent is not a resident of this state on the date of the decedent's death and the disclaimer is of real property that is located in this state, the written memorandum of disclaimer must be:
(1) filed with the county clerk of the county in which the real property is located; and
(2) recorded by the county clerk in the deed records of that county.
