Sec. 156.402. CIVIL ACTIONS AND INJUNCTIVE RELIEF

(a) A mortgage applicant injured by a violation of this chapter may bring an action for recovery of actual monetary damages and reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.
(b) The commissioner, the attorney general, or a mortgage applicant may bring an action to enjoin a violation of this chapter.
(c) A remedy provided by this section is in addition to any other remedy provided by law.
