Sec. 31.204. DIRECT APPEAL TO COURT OR APPEAL OF FINANCE COMMISSION ORDER

A person affected by a final order of the banking commissioner who elects to appeal directly to district court, or a person affected by a final order of the finance commission under this chapter, may appeal the final order by filing a petition for judicial review in the District Court of Travis County as provided by Chapter 2001, Government Code. A petition for judicial review filed in the district court does not stay or vacate the appealed order unless the court, after notice and hearing, expressly stays or vacates the order.
