Sec. 43.111. 24TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT

(a) The voters of DeWitt, Goliad, and Refugio counties elect a district attorney for the 24th Judicial District who represents the state in that district court only in those counties.
(b) The district attorney also represents the state in all cases before the 135th Judicial District Court in DeWitt, Goliad, and Refugio counties.
(c) The commissioners courts of DeWitt, Goliad, and Refugio counties may supplement the state salary of the district attorney in the amount they consider proper. The supplemental compensation must be paid in equal monthly installments in proportion to the population of those counties.
