Sec. 43.156. 132ND JUDICIAL DISTRICT

(a) The voters of the 132nd Judicial District elect a district attorney.
(b) The commissioners court of one or more of the counties comprising the district may supplement the state salary of the district attorney. The supplement may not exceed $3,000 a year. The supplemental salary may be paid from the officers' salary fund of the county, if adequate. If the officers' salary fund of a county is inadequate, the commissioners court may transfer the necessary funds from the general fund of the county.
