Sec. 51.001. APPOINTMENT; RESIDENCE; BOND; SEAL

(a) The order appointing the clerk of the supreme court must be recorded in the minutes of the court.
(b) The clerk must reside at Austin.
(c) Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 285, Sec. 31(6).
(d) The clerk shall provide a seal for the use of the supreme court. The seal must have a five-pointed star and must be engraved with the words "Supreme Court of the State of Texas."
