(a) The bank shall promote the linked deposit program established by this subchapter to eligible borrowers and financial institutions that make commercial loans and are depositories of state funds.
(b) Not later than January 1 of each odd-numbered year, the office shall prepare and deliver to the governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the house of representatives, and clerks of the standing committees of the senate and house of representatives with primary jurisdiction over commerce and economic development a report concerning the bank's efforts in promoting the linked deposit program during the preceding two years.
