Sec. 161.106. GUARDIANSHIP POWERS AND DUTIES

In serving as guardian of the person or estate, or both, for an incapacitated individual, the department has all the powers granted and duties prescribed to a guardian under Chapter XIII, Texas Probate Code, or any other applicable law.
