Sec. 11.005. COMPOSITION OF BOARD

(a) The board is composed of seven members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate.
(b) Appointments to the board shall be made without regard to the race, color, handicap, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointees.
(c) Four members of the board must have a demonstrated interest in the services provided by the department, and three members must represent the public.
