Sec. 11.0161. COMPENSATORY PER DIEM FOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER

(a) Within the limit of available funds, a member of an advisory committee appointed to assist the board and the department is entitled to receive, if authorized by board rule, a compensatory per diem, not to exceed the rate set in the General Appropriations Act, for each meeting the member attends.
(b) If a member has been appointed under the authority of a prior statute that provides no compensatory per diem or that provides for compensatory per diem in a specific amount, this section supersedes that statute.
