Sec. 13.043. GRATUITIES PROHIBITED

Latest version.

(a) A patient in a state chest hospital may not offer an officer, agent, or employee of the hospital a tip, payment, or reward of any kind.
(b) A patient who violates this section may be expelled from the hospital. An employee who accepts a tip, payment, or reward of any kind from a patient may be discharged.
(c) The board shall strictly enforce this section.
