Sec. 222.027. PHYSICIAN ON SURVEY TEAM

The Texas Department of Health shall ensure that a licensed physician involved in direct patient care as defined by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners is included on a survey team sent under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. Section 1395 et seq.) when surveying the quality of services provided by physicians in hospitals.
