Sec. 345.043. FEES; EXPIRATION

(a) The Texas Board of Health shall set the fees for an initial permit issued under this chapter and for renewal of a permit issued under this chapter in amounts reasonable and necessary to defray the cost of administering this chapter.
(b) A fee collected under this chapter shall be deposited to a special account in the state treasury. Money in the account may be appropriated only to the department to administer and enforce this chapter.
(c) A permit expires one year after the date of issuance.
