Sec. 401.2051. CONVEYANCE OF WASTE

(a) The compact waste disposal facility license holder shall convey to the state at no cost to the state title to the compact waste delivered to the disposal facility for disposal at the time the waste is accepted at the site. Acceptance occurs when the acceptance criteria specified in the license have been satisfied. This section does not apply to federal facility waste accepted at a federal facility waste disposal facility.
(b) The title and all related rights and interest in compact waste conveyed under this section are the property of the commission on the state's behalf. The commission may administer the waste as property in the name of the state.
