Sec. 431.247. DELEGATION OF POWERS OR DUTIES

(a) The board by rule may delegate a power or duty imposed on the commissioner by this chapter to a designee of the board, including the power or duty to issue an emergency rule, an emergency manufacturing permit, or an order or to render a final administrative decision.
(b) A health authority may, unless otherwise restricted by law, delegate a power or duty imposed on the health authority by this chapter to an employee of the local health department, the local health unit, or the public health district in which the health authority serves.
