Sec. 433.025. INSPECTION OF MEAT FOOD PRODUCTS

(a) To prevent the use in intrastate commerce of adulterated meat food products, the commissioner, through inspectors, shall examine and inspect all meat food products prepared in a processing establishment solely for intrastate commerce. To make the examination and inspection, an inspector shall be given access at all times to each part of the establishment, regardless of whether the establishment is being operated.
(b) The inspector shall mark, stamp, tag, or label products found unadulterated as "Texas inspected and passed" and those found adulterated as "Texas inspected and condemned."
(c) The establishment shall, in the manner provided for condemned livestock or carcasses, destroy for food purposes each condemned meat food product. If the establishment does not destroy a condemned meat food product, the commissioner may remove inspectors from the establishment.
