  • The commissioner, by general or special order, may require a person engaged in intrastate commerce to file with the commissioner an annual report, special report, or both, or answers in writing to specific questions furnishing the commissioner information that the commissioner requires concerning the person's organization, business, conduct, practices, management, and relation to other persons filing written answers and reports. The commissioner may prescribe the form of the report or answers, require the report or answers to be given under oath, and prescribe a reasonable deadline for filing the report or answers, subject to the granting of additional time by the commissioner.
