Sec. 433.090. CONTEMPT

(a) A person commits an offense if the person neglects or refuses to attend and testify or answer a lawful inquiry or to produce documentary evidence, if the person has the power to do so, in obedience to a subpoena or lawful requirement of the commissioner.
(b) An offense under this section is punishable by a fine of not less than $1,000 or more than $5,000, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
