Sec. 781.402. CIVIL PENALTY

(a) A person who violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $5,000 a day.
(b) At the request of the department, the attorney general may bring an action to recover a civil penalty authorized under this section.
(c) The attorney general may recover reasonable expenses incurred in obtaining a civil penalty under this section, including court costs, reasonable attorney's fees, investigative costs, witness fees, and deposition expenses.
