Sec. 38.402. FILING OF CERTAIN CLAIMS INFORMATION

(a) The commissioner shall require each insurer described by Section 38.401 to file with the commissioner aggregate personal automobile insurance and residential property insurance claims information for the period covered by the filing, including the number of claims:
(1) filed during the reporting period;
(2) pending on the last day of the reporting period, including pending litigation;
(3) closed with payment during the reporting period;
(4) closed without payment during the reporting period; and
(5) carrying over from the reporting period immediately preceding the current reporting period.
(b) An insurer described by Section 38.401 must file the information described by Subsection (a) on an annual basis. The information filed must be broken down by quarter.
