Sec. 372.002. EXERCISE OF POWERS

Powers granted under this subchapter may be exercised by a municipality or county in which the governing body of the municipality or county initiates or receives a petition requesting the establishment of a public improvement district. A petition must comply with the requirements of Section 372.005.
