Sec. 505.206. EFFECT OF SUBCHAPTER ON ELECTION AUTHORITY

This subchapter does not affect an authorizing municipality's authority to call an election under this chapter to impose a sales and use tax for any purpose authorized by this chapter after the sales and use tax described by this subchapter is, in accordance with Section 505.258, no longer collected.
