Sec. 22.002. CONTINUATION OF OFFICES IN MUNICIPALITY CHANGING TO TYPE A GENERAL-LAW MUNICIPALITY

If a municipality changes to a Type A general-law municipality under Subchapter B of Chapter 6, the officers serving in the municipality on the date of the change shall continue in office until their offices are superseded in conformity to the law applying to Type A general-law municipalities.
