In this chapter:
(1) "Board" means the Texas Board of Health.
(2) "Sanitarian" means a person trained in sanitary science to perform duties relating to education and inspections in environmental sanitation.
(3) "Sanitation" means the study, art, and technique of applying scientific knowledge to improve the human environment for the purpose of promoting public health and welfare.
