Sec. 2306.005. EXEMPTIONS FROM CHAPTER

The following contracts and agreements are exempt from this chapter and are only subject to any other statute or law that specifically applies to them:
(1) warranties or guarantees, other than those provided as part of a vehicle protection product;
(2) service contracts regulated by Chapter 1304; and
(3) agreements issued by an automobile service club that holds a certificate of authority under Chapter 722, Transportation Code.
