Sec. 401.352. LICENSE RENEWAL

(a) Each licensed speech-language pathologist or audiologist must annually pay the nonrefundable fee for license renewal. The board shall allow a 60-day grace period. After expiration of the grace period, the board may renew a license on payment of a penalty set by board rule.
(b) An application for a license filed not later than the second anniversary of the license expiration date is considered an application for renewal. The board may not require a person who applies for renewal on or before the second anniversary of the license expiration date to take an examination as a condition of renewal.
(c) A person whose license has been expired for two years or more may not renew the license. The person may obtain a new license by complying with the requirements and procedures for obtaining an original license.
