Sec. 402.553. CIVIL PENALTY

(a) A person who violates this chapter or a rule or order adopted by the committee under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $5,000 a day.
(b) At the request of the committee, the attorney general shall bring an action to recover a civil penalty authorized under this section.
