Sec. 604.304. PENALTY TO BE PAID OR HEARING REQUESTED

Latest version.

(a) Not later than the 20th day after the date the person receives the notice under Section 604.303, the person may:
(1) accept the department's determination and proposed administrative penalty; or
(2) make a written request for a hearing on that determination.
(b) If the person accepts the department's determination, the commissioner of public health or the commissioner's designee by order shall approve the determination and assess the proposed penalty.
