(a) Not later than the 45th day after the date a properly submitted and timely application is received and not later than the 30th day before the next examination date, the department shall notify an applicant in writing of the receipt and investigation of the applicant's application and any other relevant evidence relating to applicant qualifications established by dietitians board rule.
(b) The notice shall state whether the applicant has qualified for examination based on the application and other submitted evidence. If the applicant has not qualified, the notice shall state the reasons for the applicant's failure to qualify.
