Sec. 953.051. REGISTRATION REQUIRED

(a) A person may not operate as a company or sales representative of legal service contracts sold in this state unless the person is registered with the department. A company's contract may only be sold by a sales representative who is registered with the department.
(b) A person who collects commissions for the sale of legal service contracts but who does not actively sell or solicit legal service contracts is not required to register under this subchapter.
