Sec. 1601.405. RENEWAL WHILE IN ARMED FORCES

(a) The department may not require a Class A barber, barber technician, instructor, or manicurist who is serving on active duty in the United States armed forces to renew the person's certificate or license.
(b) The department shall issue a renewal certificate or license on application and payment of the required renewal fee not later than the 90th day after the date the person is released or discharged from active duty in the armed forces.
