Sec. 1602.001. GENERAL DEFINITIONS

In this chapter:
(1) "Board" means the Advisory Board on Cosmetology.
(2) "Commission" means the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation.
(3) "Department" means the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
(4) "Executive director" means the executive director of the department.
(5) "Public school" includes a public high school, a public junior college, or any other nonprofit tax-exempt institution that conducts a cosmetology program.
