Sec. 818. SALES OF PERSONAL PROPERTY REPORTED; DECREE VESTS TITLE

  • All sales of personal property shall be reported to the court. The laws regulating the confirmation or disapproval of sales of real estate apply to sales of personal property, but no conveyance shall be necessary. The decree confirming the sale of personal property shall vest the right and title of the estate of the ward in the purchaser who has complied with the terms of the sale and shall be prima facie evidence that all requirements of the law in making the sale have been met. The guardian of an estate may, on request, issue a bill of sale without warranty to the purchaser as evidence of title. The expense of the bill of sale if requested is to be borne by the purchaser.
