Sec. 843. PROPERTY HIRED OR RENTED ON CREDIT

  • When property is hired or rented on credit, possession of the property may not be delivered until the hirer or renter has executed and delivered to the guardian of the estate a note with good personal security for the amount of the hire or rental. If the property that is hired or rented is delivered without the receipt of the security required under this section, the guardian and the sureties on the bond of the guardian shall be liable for the full amount of the hire or rental. This section does not apply to a hire or rental that is paid in installments in advance of the period of time to which they relate.
