Sec. 1058.254. ELECTION FOR SEPARATE TAX ASSESSOR AND TAX COLLECTOR

(a) On receipt of a petition signed by a number of district voters equal to at least five percent of the taxpaying voters of the district, the court may order an election to determine whether the district shall have a separate tax assessor and tax collector for the assessment and collection of district taxes.
(b) Notice of the election shall be given as required by Section 1058.052.
