Sec. 548.302. COMMISSION TO ADOPT STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS

The commission shall:
(1) adopt standards for emissions-related inspection criteria consistent with requirements of the United States and the conservation commission applicable to a county in which a program is established under this subchapter; and
(2) develop and impose requirements necessary to ensure that an inspection certificate is not issued to a vehicle subject to a program established under this subchapter unless the vehicle has passed a motor vehicle emissions inspection at a facility authorized and certified by the department.
