Sec. 548.304. STATIONS LICENSED TO CONDUCT EMISSIONS INSPECTIONS

(a) The department may authorize and certify inspection stations as necessary to implement the emissions-related inspection requirements of the motor vehicle emissions inspection and maintenance program established under this subchapter if the station meets the department's certification requirements.
(b) The department shall provide inspection certificates for distribution and issuance at inspection stations certified by the department.
