Sec. 26.359. LOCAL REGULATION OR ORDINANCE

  • (a) In this section, "local government" means a school district, county, municipality, junior college district, river authority, water district or other special district, or other political subdivision created under the constitution or a statute of this state.

    (b) A regulation or ordinance adopted by a local government that imposes standards for the design, construction, installation, or operation of underground storage tanks is not valid.

    (c) This section does not apply to a regulation or ordinance in effect as of January 1, 2001.
