Sec. 51.072. QUALIFICATIONS FOR DIRECTOR

To be qualified for election as a director, a person must be a resident of the state, own land subject to taxation in the district, and be at least 18 years of age. Section 49.052 does not apply to a district governed by this chapter whose principal purpose is providing water for irrigation.
