Sec. 62.102. DISTRICTS AS GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES

All districts created under this chapter shall be governmental agencies and bodies politic and corporate with the powers of government and with the authority to exercise the rights, privileges, and functions which are essential to the accomplishment of those purposes.
