Sec. 451.052. OFFICIAL OATH

A person appointed to the board shall take the constitutional oath of office not later than the 15th day after the date of appointment. On presentation of the oath, the secretary of state shall issue a commission to the appointee as evidence of the appointee's authority to act as a member of the board.
