Sec. 451.053. TERMS; VACANCY

(a) Board members serve staggered six-year terms with the terms of one or two members expiring on January 31 of each odd-numbered year.
(b) If a vacancy occurs on the board, the governor shall appoint a successor to serve for the unexpired portion of the term.
